Some topics I enjoy studying are operating systems, distributed systems, cloud computing, and computer architecture. I am particularly passionate about developing a strong breadth of knowledge across the entire technology stack, from digital circuits to cloud services, as a means to bridge the communication gap between founders, management, and software/hardware engineers. Some projects I've worked on include:

  • Energy-aware process scheduler in the Linux kernel for reducing carbon footprints in data centers
  • Feature validation framework for Amazon's Customer Behavior Analytics ML infrastructure
  • Very fast and hardware-accelerated AES audio encryption on an FPGA
  • Memory tagging extension on a RISC-V processor via simulation on gem5
  • Apache Kafka consumer load-balancer for Stryker's distributed hospital messaging platform
  • Automated test-case failure analysis system for QA teams at Visa
  • Refrigerator management iOS app to reduce food waste

I recently graduated from Columbia University with an M.S. in Computer Engineering and earned my
B.A. in Computer Science from Colorado College. I enjoy building products from scratch and excel with communication and leadership within team environments. Always happy to connect and chat, feel free to reach out!

🥁 I am also equally passionate about music performance/production and have been playing the drums for many years. Here's a recent performance with Columbia's jazz ensemble:
